During the ceremony to celebrate her maiden voyage from Los Angeles both Princess Cruises and the Port of Los Angeles highlighted the positive financial impact that cruising has had for Los Angeles and surrounding communities. The unsurprising highlight here is that each cruise ship visit infuses more than $1 million into the local economy.
