But there are many more fun things to see and do so that you get to fully experience all that Seattle has to offer.   ## Pike Place Market Before you explore a little more inland, you will want to spend some time looking around Pike Place Market. It is a vast market that has many places to explore and countless places to sample food and drink. Here you will find the famous gum wall where you can add a signature of your own. You will also find the largest collection of giant shoes in the world at the Giant Shoe Museum. You will also find many unique markets, including Golden Age Collectibles, where you will likely find a little nostalgia from your childhood. If you are looking for a laugh, you will want to visit the Unexpected Productions Market Theatre that features improv at its best. If you want to sharpen your sleuthing skills, you will want to be on the lookout for the many "Seattle-Lights" located along the Pike Place Hill Climb. They are silver men holding lanterns and light bulbs and help to light the way along the staircase. You will find many brewing companies and, of course, coffee shops as well as plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, and seafood to quench your appetite. There are also plenty of places to pick up a souvenir or two. The best part is that you don't need a taxi or car to enjoy the market because everything is very close. Just be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. ## Take An Underground Tour You will want to take a historic tour underneath the streets and learn all about the history of Pioneer Square. On this tour, you will be guided through subterranean tunnels and learn all about Seattle's rich history, such as the Klondike Gold Rush and Skid Row. The tour spans three blocks and is sure to be a tour you won't soon forget. ## The Sky's the Limit If you want to take some panoramic pictures of the city, you will want to visit the Sky View Observatory, where you can see picture-worthy sights such as Mt. Rainier, the Space Needle, and the Cascade Mountains, to name a few. ## Make Friends With the Animals The Woodland Park Zoo is another must-see, and you will get to enjoy a 92-acre zoological garden and over 1,000 animals from all over the world. ## Visit the Space Needle The Space Needle is an iconic feature of Seattle and will take your breath away with its amazing sights. It features a rotating glass floor and a seemingly endless view of the city and beyond. ## Enjoy the Planes Another fun place to visit is the Museum of Flight, where you can enjoy vintage planes. You can even explore a Boeing 747 as well as enjoy the many galleries and displays. It even features a Space Gallery that will delight the senses. ## Take in Some Culture The Olympic Sculpture Park is a fun outdoor activity that is also free to enjoy and is sure to inspire a spark or creativity. It First opened in 2007 and features Landscape architecture and is one of the only green areas in Downtown Seattle. It used to be contaminated brownfield but is now a beautiful place to visit beside the Seattle seawall. There are so many things to see and do in Seattle that you will be sure to find something that strikes your fancy while learning more about the rich history of the city.
